HYPNOTHERAPY
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How does Hypnosis work? Hypnosis is getting access to your subconscious mind. You will go through steps to become deeply relaxed and when we are deeply relaxed, your mind is receptive and open to the suggestions related to your goal. You are more likely to see better results and experience a true transformation. Hypnosis is completely natural.  If you have ever "zoned out" while driving or on a nature walk, you have been in a state of hypnosis.

Will it work? For hypnosis to be effective, you have to want the change to happen. When in hypnosis, your mind is excited and receptive to change. Hypnosis can be a powerful tool when you want to unlock a transformation, overcome a block, or address issues at the root cause. There is a very high likelihood that hypnotherapy will work for your issue.

What benefits will I see? You will experience better sleep, more insights (AHA moments), and just overall feeling better during the day.

What does Hypnosis feel like? Hypnosis is a very comfortable, peaceful, relaxed feeling. Your body is completely at ease, but your mind is aware. You will feel a sense of rejuvenation after a hypnotherapy session!

Will I lose control of myself or get "stuck"? Absolutely NOT! Hypnotherapy is a way of giving yourself more control, not less. You cannot be hypnotized unwillingly, and you cannot be asked to something that is outside of your moral compass or reveal anything you do not want to . You are in complete control. If at any time you want to end the session, simply open your eyes.

What Hypnosis is NOT:  This is clinical Hypnotherapy - not stage entertainment. You will not be asked to bark like a dog or quack like a duck. That kind of hypnosis is solely for the purpose of entertainment for shows. Hypnotherapy with Kim is strictly a healing tool.

You can read my blog, "TOP 5 MYTHS ABOUT HYPNOSIS" to get more information on what to expect.

What is Regression? Regression is an approach that focuses on resolving significant past events believed to be interfering with a person's present mental and emotional wellness. Only people with sound mental health who are confident that a review of past events will not adversely impact their emotional and mental health should participate. Kim requires that if you have any concerns about your mental health to see a licensed therapist or counselor prior to regression work.
