Nutrition & Life Practices Taught by Ayurveda

I am so excited to get back to my roots of cooking - but in this whole new way of living!

I have been connected to Ayurveda for many years from the self care practices of Morning routines, i.e. Lemon Water, elimination, Nasya oil, Abhyanga, and Dry Brushing.

It makes sense and feels very natural to start to look at my diet in a way that is unique to my constitution and what will balance me. Since I have been more mindful about my food choices, and choosing what reduces my Dosha (Pitta), I have felt so much better physically, energetically, and spiritually.

During our Ayurvedic Nutrition & Lifestyle sessions, We will take an in-depth look at your health, habits, tendencies, and goals to determine your deep nature, Prakruti, that makes each individual unique. This is the result of our particular balance of the different Doshas that compose us. There are 3 Doshas: Vata, Pitta, Kapha.

Our goal will be to balance your current imbalance (Vikruti) with proper diet education, Yoga/Pranayama/Meditation, herbal supports, and lifestyle suggestions that are unique to you - returning you as close to your deep nature, Prakruti, as possible.

Ayurvedic treatment encourages us to trust our feelings, sense, and body to tell us what is and what is not good for us.

An Ayurvedic proverb says, "a good medicine without a good diet is ineffective, and a good diet has no need for medicine."

Please explore and consider booking a consultation and/or 1:1 Session with me - I would be honored to teach you about the healing science of Ayurveda!
